About Kate
Whether it’s with her award-winning Kate Percy’s Go Bites, educational resources or recipe books, Kate Percy’s mission is to inspire and nourish healthy, active lifestyles. Kate is all about great taste, a smile on the face of friends and family, and giving you the right type of get-up-and-go energy – it’s what she calls ‘ENERJOY’.
Kate Percy’s story started with a running race and a mid-life crisis! Aged 40, her husband Mark decided to run the New York Marathon. As his mileage increased, so his energy levels decreased. Kate took to the kitchen to develop recipes specifically designed to deliver sustaining energy. It was a lightbulb moment. Her new recipes not only helped him, but she, and the whole family, felt more energised. So much so that Kate started running too, embarking on her first marathon in 2004.
Fast forward 15 years, now a Sunday Times Maserati 100 game-changing business leader, Kate, 55, has authored multiple best-selling active lifestyle cookbooks and nutrition guides, and, most recently launched her own range of better-for-you snacks; Kate Percy’s Go Bites. Available in five exciting flavours, Kate Percy’s Go Bites are distinctive not only for their great taste awards, but also for their sub 100 kcal credentials. 100% natural, they are vegan, gluten free (Coeliac UK approved), contain no added sugar and are high in fibre. Kate Percy’s Go Bites are now available in Holland & Barrett, Whole Food Markets, Waitrose John Lewis Foodhalls and indie stores nationwide, online on Amazon, Skinny Foods, MuscleFood and Mighty Small and in several export markets.
1p per pack and 50p per book is donated to the Youth Sport Charity to help deliver the company’s ‘5 by 2025’ initiative: for all children, by 2025, to be able to cook 5 healthy meals by the time they leave home.
