More than 8 out of 10 adults in Great Britain use the internet daily or almost daily.*

What are they doing there?
Sharing information, visiting websites, socialising, creating content, buying and reviewing products and services.

Are they visiting your website to buy your products or services?

Your website is the first thing most potential clients will see, yet many websites are full of out-of-date information and errors. This doesn’t give a very good impression of your business. Many new businesses get a shiny new website and never look at it again. Does this sound like you? If so, get in touch. I can help.

Many conscientious business owners present themselves well in person but their once shiny new website is left unloved and unattended! This can have a detrimental effect on the way a visitor perceives your brand. For the most part, these websites do not need a completely new design; they just need a content review and some more regular attention. When was the last time you updated your website?

Content is King

In 1996 Bill Gates said that where the internet is concerned, content is king and that’s still the case. Taking this into consideration, the idea of having a website that is inactive, or inaccurate seems like a fatal error. It is, however, a lot more common than you think.

Perhaps you should think about your website. Have you updated it in the last month? If not it could have an old telephone number, a service you no longer provide or worse. If your website doesn’t look professional, customers will look elsewhere.

For your website to appear in online searches, it must be active and regularly updated with new content. If your website is static and out of date, you might not appear in search results at all, therefore missing out on potential custom. Ideally, you need to be adding new content that is relevant to your customers every week or at the very least once a month.

Time is of the essence

Maybe you know this already, but you just don’t have the time to regularly update your website. If this sounds like something that you and your business are suffering from then don’t panic! I can help.

I can review your site for errors and out of date information, providing tips and suggestions for improving the content, specifically for your target audience. If you prefer, I can provide the updated content for you. This can be weekly, monthly or just when you are having writers’ block. The service I provide will be tailored to the needs of your business.
